Ryan joined Baird in 2009 as a Vice President in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining Baird, Ryan evaluated, structured and negotiated strategic partnerships, investments and acquisitions at Abraxis BioScience, a biopharmaceutical company. Before Abraxis, Ryan spent over 10 years in the Healthcare Investment Banking Groups at Wachovia and CIBC World Markets, and helped establish the West Coast Healthcare Investment Banking office for Wachovia. Ryan has completed over 80 transactions for life science companies, including public and private equity financings, leveraged finance transactions and buy side, sell side and partnership assignments. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
